The Legality Rating is a tool used by Italian companies that operate using ethical behaviors, in compliance with complete legality and transparency of their business. The rating is a useful and effective tool for improving company’s impact and reputation, a sign of particular attention on the part of the company towards these issues. S.I.ME. obtained in 2017 ★★ Legality rating conferred by the Competition and Market Authority (AGCM).
Conflict Minerals
REACH
“Conlict Minerals” legislation includes a numbers of requirements for importing company to promotes responsible minerals supply, which origins comes from high risk areas or affected by conflict.
SIME’s goal is to ensure the use of “Conflict free” minerals and components, from verified mines and foundries, ensuring compliance also by our suppliers.
REACH guideline, (CE) n. 1907/2006, acronym (“ Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals”) is an integrated legislation for chemical substances registration, evaluation and authorisation. Aims to ensure a higher protection level of human health and the environment, while aspiring to maintain and strengthen the competitiveness and innovative capacities of the European chemical industry.
SIME undertakes to follow REACH guideline in all its form to provide all the risks for using potentially harmful chemical substances as per regulation.
OUR FIRST SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
Our commitment on the ESG front materializes this year with the acquisition of the ISO 14001 certification and with the publication of our first Sustainability Report, with reference to the GRI standards, for the year 2023.
